Adigrat University held fruitful discussions
On Tuesday July 11, 2023, Adigrat University held fruitful discussions with Reverend Tesfaselassie Medhin, Bishop of the Catholic Eparchy of Adigrat, and Dr. Marko Khun, Head of the Africa Department of the German based Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD).During the meeting Dr. Zaid Negash, President of the University, briefed the guests on the past and current developments of the institution. Of particular focus in the discussion was the ordeal under which the University passed through during the Tigray War as well as the associated damages and losses. Scholarship opportunities by KAAD for staff members was also accorded a great deal of attention. During the event, the office of International and Public relations also organized a tour of the main campus. It was finally agreed to employ the ocassion as a staring point for initiating and consolidating collaborations among the parties in areas of mutual interest.
