ዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ ከ 6 ሚልዮን ብር በላይ የሚያወጡ የላፕቶፕ ድጋፍ ተደረገለት

በዶ/ር ጻሃዬ ተፈራ የተመሰረተውና የሚመራው ኢሲዲሲ (ECDC)የተሰኘው አገር በቀል ድርጅት በዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ በተፈጥሮና ቀመር ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ ስር ለሚገኘው የሳይንስ ሼርድ ካምፓስ ለማስተማርያነት አገልግሎቴ የሚውሉ ከ 6 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ የሚያወጡ 30 ላፕቶፖችን ለዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲ አበረከተ። ይህ ድጋፍ በተፈጥሮና ቀመር ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ ስር የሚገኘውን የስቴም ማእከል ለማጠናከር እና ለተማሪዎች የሚሰጠውን ትምህርት ጥራቱ ለማሳደግ ያለመ ነው። በስቴም ማዕከሉ የሚኖረው አስተዋፅኦ ከፍተኛ ከመሆኑ በተጨማሪ፣ የሳይንስ ሼርድ ተማሪዎች በተግባር የተደገፈ ትምህርትን በጥራት እንዲያገኙ እና ዩኒቨርሲቲውም በሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ መስክ የተዘረጋ ትምህርት ለመስጠት እንዲችል ትልቅ ድጋፍ እንደሚሆን በዩኒቨርስቲው የስቴም ማእከል ኣስተባባሪ ኣቶ ሃፍቱ ተክላይ ገልፀውልናል።

Adigrat University Joins China-Africa Solar Photovoltaic Industry Alliance.

Adigrat University has officially joined the China-Africa Solar Photovoltaic Industry Alliance, signing an agreement alongside key partners including Hubei University of Technology, Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Jimma University, and Adama Science and Technology University.

The signing took place during the China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Day, held on September 26, 2025, at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa.

Dr. Gebrekidan Tesfay, Vice President for Academic and Research at Adigrat University, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and held discussions on potential areas of future collaboration with partner institutions in China.

This milestone marks an important step in strengthening partnerships with Chinese institutions and advancing cooperation in new energy technologies between China and Africa.

Adigrat University Hosted the 8th International Meskel Research Conference

Adigrat University, through its College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of Archaeology and Heritage Management, held a one-day conference on September 24, 2025, under the theme of preserving and promoting Tigray’s cultural and archaeological heritage.

The program featured podium presentations on a wide range of topics. Highlights included a progress report on the UNESCO World Heritage nomination of Debre-Damo Monastery by Mr. Getnet Desta, the Eastern Tigray Archaeological Project (ETAP) presented by Prof. Catherine D’Andrea, and a study on the living traditions of Agame by Mr. Abraha Kiros. Other sessions covered prehistoric rock art conservation, manuscript preservation in monasteries, the role of culinary heritage in tourism development, and experimental research on stone tool preservation. Each session was followed by active discussions that engaged scholars, students, and community representatives.
