European Union Ambassador’s visit to Adigrat university.
European Union Ambassador to Ethiopia his Excellency Ronald Kobia, visited our university today May 18/2023 together with his colleagues. He held discussions wth top officails on matters in supporting the university resume its normal functions following the devastating two-year-logn war. The Ambassador visited some of the damages happened to the university due to the war. The university top officials gave the ambassador a document which confined post war damage assessment of the university. Moreover, they briefed him the previous image and the current status of the university.
The stability and socio economic development for vulnerable and marginalized communities in Tigray project which Adigrat university in collaboration with European union is doing was also part of the discussion. Finally, both sides agreed to further consolidate contacts and collaborations.
