Registrar’s Office
The Registrar’s Office at the University of Adigrat plays a central role in managing academic and administrative services for students and faculty. Its responsibilities include:
Preparing and issuing the academic calendar.
Preparing and updating the admission prospectus and student handbooks.
Managing student admissions, placement, and registration.
Conducting orientation programs for new students.
Recording and monitoring students’ academic performance.
Notifying students of their academic status.
Managing graduation processes according to program types and modes of delivery.
Administering the use of classrooms, lecture halls, and laboratories.
Communicating academic rules and regulations.
Preparing and issuing transcripts, certificates, and other official educational documents.
Ensuring compliance with laws, directives, and guidelines regarding students’ curricula.
Custody of the University’s common seal.
Consulting with the Ministry of Education on intake capacity, admissions, and University-wide criteria.
Planning, organizing, and undertaking student support activities.
