Registrar’s Office

The Registrar’s Office at the University of Adigrat plays a central role in managing academic and administrative services for students and faculty. Its responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and issuing the academic calendar.

  • Preparing and updating the admission prospectus and student handbooks.

  • Managing student admissions, placement, and registration.

  • Conducting orientation programs for new students.

  • Recording and monitoring students’ academic performance.

  • Notifying students of their academic status.

  • Managing graduation processes according to program types and modes of delivery.

  • Administering the use of classrooms, lecture halls, and laboratories.

  • Communicating academic rules and regulations.

  • Preparing and issuing transcripts, certificates, and other official educational documents.

  • Ensuring compliance with laws, directives, and guidelines regarding students’ curricula.

  • Custody of the University’s common seal.

  • Consulting with the Ministry of Education on intake capacity, admissions, and University-wide criteria.

  • Planning, organizing, and undertaking student support activities.
